September 13 - sept 17

Wednesday the students will have an in-school field trip! Representatives from the Farm Bureau will have a mini lesson about cotton!

On Thursday the students will have Picture Day!

Spelling and Math Homework- Reading Log

Spelling homework will be same every week except that the words will change. Students will be provided with a worksheet to complete the homework. If that sheet is lost, the student can use a clean lined piece of paper.

Monday -Triangles
Ex. a
     ap
    app
    appl
   apple

Tuesday- ABC Order
Ex. apple, banana, lime, orange

Wednesday- Sentences
Ex. There was a worm in my apple.

Thursday- Colorful words (4x's each pencil, pen, crayon and marker)
Ex. Apple Apple Apple Apple

Math homework is be different every night. The students will come home with one side of the worksheet completed and have the other side for homework. Sometimes one of the problems may be X'd out.

Reading log.
Reading Logs are due on Friday Morning. They should be filled out by the student and signed by a parent

Homework!

Homework starts today! There will be one spelling assignment and one math assignment each night, Monday through thursday. The assignments are do the next day. Homework does count as a grade.

Daily Specials Schedule

Specials are every day during the week (including Wednesdays) from 10:10 - 10:50

Monday- P.E.- Students should wear appropriate shoes and clothing.

Tuesday- Library- Students should bring all library books to school so that they can exchange them for new                      ones.

Wednesday- SPECIALS ROTATE-1st Wednesday of the month-PE

                                                        2nd Wednesday of the month- Library

                                                        3rd Wednesday of the month- Technology

                                                        4th Wednesday of the month- Music
